W elcome to Presteigne Film Society's latest programme and the second half of our current season. Another broad range of subjects is covered in this selection, from the streets of North London to remote Uruguay, and this year our Borderlines screening forms part of the Cuban films series featured in the festival (look for the Borderlines Film Festival logo). We hope you enjoy the movies that you find here and look forward once again to your company at The Assembly Rooms.
This digital version of the programme is at www.presteignefilms.org.uk
Title To Be Announced
We are keeping our options open regarding the selection for our fundraiser. Each year we try to bring you a fine film and add to it the attraction of food and drink to create a party atmosphere. Past successes have included Buena Vista Social Club, Monsoon Wedding and The History Boys which gives an idea of the range of themes covered. Perhaps this year we'll show something less contemporary, a classic black and white oldie, or maybe you have ideas of what you would like to see on our big screen? Email thoughts or requests to info@presteignefilms.org.uk. No guarantees - availability is not always straightforward but all suggestions will be considered. In any event the evening should be fun and we hope you will join us. Look out for announcements closer to the date.
